Tamelalt is a small village and a long, quiet beach on the coast road between Aglou and Mirleft. It's where most of our villas are: two in the village just behind the beach and six at the Club Evasion resort on the sand, all with private pools. It is the place to stay if you want an uncrowded beach with Mirleft, Aglou and Tiznit within half an hour.
How to get to Tamelalt
From Agadir Al Massira airport (AGA), the drive takes about an hour and 45 minutes: south to Tiznit, then west to the coast at Aglou and south along the coast road. Guelmim airport (GLN) is about an hour and a half away.
Tamelalt is about 20 km from Mirleft (20 minutes), 20 km from Aglou (20 minutes) and 25 km from Tiznit (25–30 minutes). We can arrange airport transfers on request.
Our villas in Tamelalt
Our two Tamelalt villas are in the village, a short walk from the beach. Six more are at the Club Evasion resort on Tamelalt Beach: two first-line villas facing the sea and four on the resort's fourth line, about a minute's walk from the sand.
Every villa has a private pool, a full kitchen, terraces, free WiFi and parking.
Tamelalt Beach
The beach is long and open, with soft sand, rocky points to explore at low tide and plenty of space even in summer. It faces west, so sunsets over the Atlantic are a daily event.
As everywhere on this coast, the ocean can be strong: swim in calm conditions, stay away from the rocks and ask us about the safest spots.
Things to do around Tamelalt
Walk the beach and the coastal paths, fish from the rocks with the locals, or simply stay by your pool. Within half an hour you can surf in Aglou, paraglide in Mirleft, or explore Tiznit's walled medina and silver souk.
Legzira's red arch and the Spanish town of Sidi Ifni make a good full-day trip further south.
Where to eat
The Ocean Dunes House restaurant and the Dunes Beach Bar, close to our Club Evasion villas, serve Moroccan, Mediterranean and international dishes. For more choice, Mirleft and Aglou are each about 20 minutes away by car.
Every villa has a fully equipped kitchen, and we can point you to the nearest markets for fish, fruit and vegetables.
Best time to visit Tamelalt
April to June and September to November are ideal: warm, sunny days and very few people. Winter is mild, often 18–22°C, and popular with Europeans escaping the cold. In July and August the coast is livelier and mornings can be misty.
