A week is the perfect length for Mirleft: enough time to explore the coast and the towns nearby, and enough time to do nothing at all. This Mirleft itinerary balances activities and slow days. Swap days around to follow the weather, the swell and the wind.
Day 1: Arrive and unwind
Fly into Agadir and drive about two hours south (see how to get from Agadir to Mirleft). Settle into your villa, swim in the pool and watch your first Atlantic sunset from the terrace. Pick up bread, fruit and mint at the shops in town.
Day 2: The beaches of Mirleft
Start at Imin Turga below the town, walk the cliff path to Aftas for a swim, and finish at Marabout beach and its white shrine for sunset. Our Mirleft beaches guide has the details.
Day 3: Surf morning, lazy afternoon
Book a surf lesson in the morning, when the wind is lightest. Beginners do best in Aftas or at Aglou; experienced surfers can check the points (see Mirleft surf spots). Spend the afternoon by the pool.
Day 4: Legzira and Sidi Ifni
Drive to Sidi Ifni for its Spanish Art Deco centre and fresh fish at the port, then stop at Legzira on the way back for the low tide and the sunset under the red arch. Our Legzira day trip guide explains the timing.
Day 5: Fly over the cliffs
Keep the afternoon free for a tandem paragliding flight, when the sea breeze is usually steady. No experience needed: read our first-flight guide. If the wind isn't right, swap with day 6 or 7.
Day 6: Tiznit and a sunset ride
Spend the morning in Tiznit's walled medina and its famous silver souk, then come back to the coast for a horse ride on the beach at sunset (see horse riding in Mirleft).
Day 7: Slow day
Breakfast on the terrace, a long walk on Tamelalt Beach at low tide, a last swim and a seafood dinner. Mirleft does slow days better than anywhere.
