Mirleft is a small town on Morocco's southern Atlantic coast, between Tiznit and Sidi Ifni. It has no big hotels, no crowds and no rush — just a string of wild beaches, a friendly little centre and some of the best sunsets in the country. Here is how our guests like to spend their days.
1. Walk barefoot to Tamelalt Beach
Tamelalt Beach is about 50 metres from our villas, with golden sand dunes just behind it. Go early in the morning when the sand is cool and the beach is almost empty, or late afternoon when the light turns gold.
2. Watch the sunset from a rooftop
The sun sets straight into the Atlantic here. Our rooftop conservatory and terraces are the best seats in the house — bring a mint tea or a cold drink and stay until the stars come out.
3. Learn to surf
Mirleft's beaches pick up consistent Atlantic swell and are far quieter than the famous breaks further north. Local surf schools offer lessons and board rental for every level — read our surfing guide for tips.
4. Explore the coves and beaches along the coast
The coastline around Mirleft is a series of sheltered coves framed by rocky headlands. Each beach has its own character, from long open sand to small hidden bays. A car or bicycle makes it easy to hop between them.
5. Drive to Legzira
A short drive south towards Sidi Ifni, Legzira Beach is known for its dramatic red sandstone cliffs and arch. Time your visit for low tide and late afternoon light.
6. Ride the dunes
Quad bike and horse riding excursions along the dunes and beach can be arranged through trusted local operators. Ask us and we'll set it up.
7. Wander the town centre
Mirleft's centre is small and relaxed: a few streets of cafés, grocers, craft shops and a weekly souk. It's the perfect place to pick up fresh bread, fruit and spices for the villa kitchen.
8. Eat fresh seafood

9. Play tennis or cycle
The resort has a tennis court and bicycles to rent — a lovely way to explore the coast road at your own pace.
10. Do absolutely nothing
